it's almost
time for war.
Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.
She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.
Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.
In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.

Unravel me
By: Tahereh Mafi
Series: Shatter Me # 2
Publisher: HarperCollins
Released: February 5th 2013

“Unravel Me” by Tahereh Mafi wasn’t at all what I was expecting. I haven’t decided if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I had some high hopes for “Unravel Me” and I don’t feel like they were met. “Unravel Me” was still a really good book though, so don’t get me wrong it is definitely worth reading, it just wants like any of my expectations. “Shatter Me” was an amazing start to the series and “Destroy Me” had some nice insights on Warren. If you haven’t read either of these, definitely go pick them up because you will enjoy them.

Juliette is trying to figure out who she is in this world that she just found out existed. Who knew that there would be other people like her? Juliette just wants to find a way that she isn’t going to hurt the people that she loves. When she discovers that her powers are killing Adam, she feels like her world is falling apart all over again. Juliette’s world keeps crashing all around her and she is trying to figure out how to keep up.

I used to like Adam, but “Unravel Me” completely changed my opinion. Adam may love Juliette but he doesn’t seem to value her like the woman that she is worth. Adam wants to keep Juliette in the dark for as long as he can. It gives Juliette the feeling of him not trusting her and in all honesty it that is how it seems to me. Juliette is a strong person, look at the life that she has had to live; I think she could have handled the truth from Adam. When Juliette finds the truth about Adam and what is going on at their new home base. Juliette for one makes some rash decisions but she also doesn’t know what to do with the new information that she knows. Juliette doesn’t just learn things about Adam; she learns new things about herself too.

I am beginning to like Warren more especially after reading “Destroy Me,” but I am still not sure that he is the exact match for Juliette. I do have to admit thought that he knows how to keep Juliette on her toes. As this series continues, I like that I get to the learn more about Warren with each book. Warren is the character that has so many different sides, that when the reader thinks they know Warren, Mafi proves the reader wrong. Mafi proves the reader wrong. Warren is one of the most complex characters ever.

Chapter 62 – I won’t spoil anything for you, but I will have to admit that I was disappointed. There was so much hype. I don’t totally know what I was expecting but what I got wasn’t it. The people that were involved in chapter 62 where the people that I was expecting but what happened, I guess I was expecting something that was a little more steamy based on the hype. I don’t think chapter 62 was bad though. I actually thought it was a very good chapter, just not what I was expecting based off of others comments.

“Unravel Me” has amazing characters, great plot, and plenty of mystery to the story. I am really enjoying the “Shatter Me” series. Definitely take the time to go check out this great series, I doubt you will be disappointed. I have reviews for the other books if you want to see what I think. Feel free to go check them out.

I give "Unravel Me" four out of five bookshelves.
