Book Review: The Bouquet List by Barbara DeLeo

"The Bouquet List" by Barbara DeLeo was very disappointing to me. I have been loving these Bliss novels, but I just couldn't get into this one for the life of me. The main characters weren't developed very well at all. I feel like they were a little all over the place. Yasmin decides to create a list called "The Bouquet List" of all the things that she wants to do because she has learned that life is too short. Yasmin survived a terrible illness and she doesn't want to tell her family what to go through. For some reason Yasmin thinks that she isn't good enough for Lane but he is on her bouquet list of things she would like to accomplish.

Lane is a super serious guy but Yasmin helps him to open up. Yasmin has known him for a long time since he has been her brother's best friend forever. Lane decides that he wants to be more serious with Yasmin but she takes it the wrong way and feels like he is trying to rule her life like everyone else.

I just couldn't get into this story. I was super bored. I feel like the characters weren't interesting at all and the plot was boring. There wasn't anything that kept me connected to the story. It felt like the typical opposites attract romance but there was nothing exciting about it at all.
