Book Review: Waistcoats & Weaponry by Gail Carringer

I am kind of curious if "Waistcoats & Weaponry" by Gail Carringer is the end of the series or if there will be more books. I have to say that I am truly disappointed with this series. I think this series has the best covers ever but I am so disappointed with this series. I felt bored the entire way through. I don't feel like each story is gett wrapped up at all and I can't seem to fall in love with any of the characters.

I would think that with Carringer being such a popular author that we would see some better material from her but I am just not feeling it at all. The pace has increased with this book but I still couldn't find a way to connect with the stories or the characters at all. I feel as if the characters just didn't have any substance to them.

In this installment of the Finishing School series, something has gone wrong in the werewolf world. This novel seemed to focus more on the love triangle in Saphronia's life. Who it will be that she wants to end up with. Soap is jealous of Felix because Felix has an invatation to Saphronia's brother's ball and then Soap crashes it. Then when all the machines shut off at the house everyone knows that something is wrong. Saphronia, Dimity, Felix, Soap, and Sidheagh all go on an adventure. Since something is wrong with the werewolves, they are trying to reach London which is where the biggest werewolf group is housed.

I am so stuck on writing a review for this story because I was just really disappointed again. I was hoping that by the third book it would get really good but I just don't feel like this story is going anywhere. The titles are lots of fun and the covers are fabulous but I am just not feeling it for the rest of the story.
