Mini Review: An August Bride by Debra Clopton

After a rodeo cowboy broke her heart, Kelsey Wilcox decided to trade in her boots for flip flops and move to the beach. Two years later she has to endure an entire weekend at her cousin's beach wedding. Brent Corbin has had plenty of bad luck with women and he isn't looking for love at all this coming wedding weekend. when Brent rescues Kelsey he thinks that maybe this woman can change his mind but Kelsey wants nothing to do with him. Being a part of the same wedding party the two keep getting thrown together and Brent wants to learn more about Kelsey but she won't give him the time of day.

I am not a huge cowboy fan but I have to admit that this wedding novella was actually pretty cute. The matchmaker relatives that were thrown into the story where pretty funny and lightened up the story a lot. I think they kept everything pretty entertaining and lots of fun to read. This novella only kept me entertained for the comedy. I didn't get attached to the characters at all. Brent and Kelsey actually seemed to bore me a lot, I was glad for the minor characters to keep me a little more entertained.
