"A Bouquet of Love" by Janice Thompson is a very touching story. This story centers around Cassia Pappas and her Greek family. Big Greek family...that is. The Pappas family has moved to Galveston and set up a restaurant in town. Cassia is an aspiring florist. She went to school for floral design but her father seems to have other job plans for her. He wants her to run the family restaurant.
Cassia decides to go against her father's wishes and apply for a job at a floral shop which she ends up getting but since she finds out that the shop is owned by the rivalry Rossi family that owns a restaurant across the street from her parents restaurant. Cassia really likes her new job but she doesn't know how she is going to convince her father to give his blessing for her new job. With the help of Bella Neeley, Cassia just might be able to see her dream come true. On top of that Cassia may find a new romance with Alex Rigas.
This is a very enjoyable read. I feel like it is very light-hearted and fun. Cassia is a fun character as the reader gets to participate in the songs that Cassia hums. This is the perfect happy ending novel one may want to read on the beach or on a quiet afternoon. It was a lot of fun getting to know the characters and watching them learn about each other. I always love when I come across a good light-hearted novel that makes me smile and this was definitely one of those.
