Dazzled by Books

“One of the Guys” is such a cute read. I thought it was very enjoyable. Toni Valentine has always been one of the guys. Toni can feel everything changing between her and her friends. She tries really hard to keep everything the same. Senior year is starting and she doesn’t want to lose her friends and to top everything off, she is starting an all-girls school. Now she is starting to have unwelcomed feelings for her best friend.

This is a great story about growing up and embracing the life in front of you. Toni is a great character. I felt like I was really able to get to know her. The rumor and drama to the story created a lot of fun and entertainment. It was a lot of fun seeing Toni and Micah go from best friends to something more. This story happens more often than not between friends. A lot of guys fall for the girl or the girl falls for the guy.

I think this is a very cute must read book. I felt like the characters were easy to get to know and that they created a wonderful presence in the story. I also felt like this story was very relatable between the characters. Aldin did a great job with her novel and I will be looking forward to what else she has in store for us.
