Dazzled by Books

“Steadfast Heart” by Tracie Peters0n was very interesting. The summary talks about Lenore but Lenore really didn’t seem to be in the book that much. Instead the story was more focused round Abrianna. I had a really hard time getting into this story though because the characters were all flat and boring. I couldn’t seem to connect with anyone.

I normally really like Petersen’s work but I was really disappointed in this one. The story was so hard to continue on. I felt several times like I was going to be adding this story to my DNF pile. The writing seemed to be extremely slow. The love story that is incorporated into the story just went by so fast. There didn’t seem to be any development at all between the two characters. I feel like many things went wrong in this novel.
