"What We Knew" by Barbara Stewart was not at all what I was expecting it to be. The narrator of the story Tracey Kolcun is a very unreliable source. This story is told through Tracy's eyes and Tracy has so many things going on in her life and the fact that she hallucinated at some point she is unable to give a reliable account of what is truly going on. The characters themselves didn't have a whole lot of depth to them. I couldn't get into any of the characters or feel any attachment to them.
The Story. Honestly I am not a fan of the storyline at all. Part of that could be the fact that I am not a big horror story person. The story is about the possibility of the "Banana Man" following these teens. Then the teens themselves are so irresponsible. I honestly just couldn't get into the story at all. This ended up being another book for my DNF pile.
