Dazzled by Books

Modern Day teenage girls, Veronica and Makenna start making their happily-ever-after in a magical place called Doon. Both of these girls have prince husbands named, Jaime and Duncan. These two girls are trying their best to protect their kingdom but they are finding out that it isn't very easy. Then all of the suddent the girls get transported back to the real world of America.

This is my first interaction with the Doon world. I feel like I now need to go back and read the entire series. The characters are well developed in this series. Both authors do a wonderful job with this book. The charactersexperience a lot in this book and I feel like it works out well for them. They have to put their heads together to figure out how to save their kingdom.

"Shades of Doon" is filled iwth a lot of adventure. This is definitely a romance story that is based in a fantasy world. The romance in the book is about dramatic for being a book for teenagers. I do think that the story was good overall and definitley a series I would like to go back and start from book one.
