Book Review:
Rachel Harris has done it again. Harris brings her adult readers a wonderful tale of love. Arabella is wanting to make her career on her own. All she wants to know is that she can make it without her fathers help. She applies for an internship by using her mother's maiden name. On top of making her way in the world, Arabella has a bucket list that she wants to complete. Something that causes her to go outside of her comfort zone in order to achieve her goals.
Charlie doesn't know what he is going to do. He always ends up causing trouble when he doesn't mean too, or maybe it is just trouble that likes to follow him around. Either way Charlie needs to find his way. Charlie's family has had some issues as of late and he hasn't always been around to help his family out. When Arabella's father sends Charlie to keep an eye out of Arabella, now Charlie is headed to Magnolia Springs (HELLO Robicheaux family), he has a lot in store for him. He is trying to kick off his charity Life and Lyrics. The hard part is that all this bad press is not helping him at all. It is time to take the summer and try to change things.
What Charlie and Arabella don't expect is that the journey they need to take is together. There paths are crossing for a reason. Charlie and Arabella's story is my favorite so far. There are so many life lessons to learn. One being to trust yourself and believe that you can do all things. Then second is to find trust in others. Now this is not to say that you trust everyone but definitely find those people that you can trust with your life. Most importantly believe in love. Love can truly change everything.
Harris writes a beautiful story for Charlie and Arabella. I loved that the Robicheaux family returns for some cameos. Every time I get a hold of a Harris book it gets devoured in a day because it is that good. I think all my adult readers will love it just as much. It is hot and fun and full of surprises. I truly think that this is the best novel yet from Rachel Harris. So Please Enjoy!
