Dazzled by Books

“Curio” by Evangeline Denmark was a very interesting read. I was really interested in reading this book because it seemed so fascinating. I was stoked to get to enter this work but I found myself just being overly confused a lot. There really wasn’t any world building. The reader is tossed into a world that they know nothing about and no one takes the time to explain it. I think this story had a great idea, but I just feel like it just didn’t have what I was looking for. I was a bit disappointed. I think if there was more world building that the story would be a lot better.
