Dazzled by Books

I really, really, really, wanted to love “The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem” by Sarit Yishai-Levi but I just couldn’t. I found myself bored. I think the story is a great idea but I just couldn’t fall in love with the characters. I had a hard time getting to know Gabriela and her family. The characters were just so boring to me that I couldn’t find a way to make the story fun and memorable for me. I think the characters could have been written so much better to where the story didn’t drag on.
