The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee

"The Thousandth Floor" by Katharine McGee is fun and entertaining. I really enjoyed the scandals. I think the comparison to the "Gossip Girl" TV show is spot on. This is very much a futuristic "Gossip Girl."

This cover is gorgeous. I love how shiny it looks. I was lucky enough to have a friend that had a spare ARC. I was excited to dive right in. "The Thousandth Floor" is full of teenage gossip and it is so addictive.

The higher up you live in the tower the richer you are. Living in a world where there is high-tech toys it sucks if you live on the lower levels. The lower the level you live on, the less access you have to the futuristic toys. There is many things in this world that are so cool. It would be awesome to have pings.

This story starts off with a girl falling off of a roof. The reader doesn't know who the girl is but the whole novel is to lead up to finding out who the girl is. We go two months back and meet all these characters that are involved in the life of this girl, that dies. These characters all have their problems. Each person thinks the other one has a perfect life.

This story is definitely not perfect. The writing isn't the best in the world but I think McGee will improve as she continues the story. The story was interesting and entertaining. I loved it. The story is completely addicting and I look forward to book two.
