Dazzled by Books

So "I'll Give You the Sun" by Jandy Nelson was the October book club pick for the Young at Heart book club. I really struggled with this book. I had a really hard time getting into Jude and Noah's characters.

THe writing style wasn't for me. I did like the past and present chapters but that was about it. When a book doesn't grip my attention right away, I rarely end up liking it. "I'll Give You the Sun" was not for me however many others seem to love it.
