"When the Moon was Ours" by Anna-Marie McLemore is a beautiful book. McLemore is a beautiful writer. Her words are gorgeous on the page. Unfortunately, I didn't love this book. This book is odd and I can't put my finger on it but I just didn't like the story-line. I didn't fall in love with the characters. When everything is said and done, this book wasn't for me but the writing is beautiful.
