Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling

I didn't read Mindy Kaling's first book. Her second book "Why Not Me?" by Mindy Kaling is really good. This memoir is funny but also a bit lacking. This memoir focuses on what has changed the last three years with Kaling getting her own tv show.

I am proud that Kaling shares that making people like her is no longer her main focus. More people need to lose the focus of trying to make people like them. I think Kaling does a great job making this point know. Kaling adds a lot of humor to her book, but it is the extremely personal parts that sold me as a reader.

Kaling covers issues like her public image, her body image, her self-esteem, and she shares many of her flaws. I haven't been this interested in a memoir for awhile I really liked. This is a fantastic memoir. I am looking forward to seeing what else Mindy Kaling has to offer for her readers.
