The Secret Life of a Dream Girl by Tracy Deebs is about Dahlia Greene. Dahlia is going to court ot get emancipated from her controlling father. She is tired of being pushed around and forced to do things that she is uncomfortable doing. Dahlia has a secret identity, she is actually the pop star "Cherry". All she wants is to start living a more normal life and go to public school.

Then there is Keegan. Keegan has always had a crush on Dahlia. He believes that she is his dream girl. One day Dahlia over hears Keegan talking about his dream girl and so she decides that she wants to help him get this dream girl of his. Keegan agrees to Dahlia's help because he is hoping that she will end up dating him. The paths get crossed and things become complicated.

I think this story is very cute. The writing is good and the pace move steadily along. The characters are well developed and I really enjoyed getting to know the characters. I really liked this book. It is a pretty fast read for me.
