City of Saints and Thieves by Natalie C. Anderson

City of Saints and Thieves by Natalie C. Anderson is so good. This book took me by surprise. For some reason I was expecting not to like it and instead it made me cry. I am a very emotional person. So since I cry a lot in real life, I rarely cry in books and movies. There is a specific chapter in this book that made me cry.

Tina makes a point to try to be invisible. If people notice you, than one may be caught and that is the last thing you want. Tina is a thief. She is a thief for a gang called the Goonda. Tina joined this group after her mother died. Now it has been five years and Tina believes she is finally ready to take revenge on the man that killed her mother.

I really enjoyed this book because Anderson was able to create an emotional connection with her characters and story. I really liked all the characters which is very rare for me. The flashback is amazing. I am really looking forward to what Anderson brings to her readers next.
