Review:
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen brought so many feels. There are so many changes in life that you have no control over and Sarah Dessen really explored this. Ruby is turning 18 in a few months, but before she can get there her mother abandons her. Ruby ends up living with her estranged sister.
I really enjoyed this story because I am currently going through my own changes in life that are out for my control. Ruby's story touched my soul. I totally understand wanting a safe place and wanting to keep something normal. Ruby grew a lot in this book and I enjoyed her character growth.
Dessen did a wonderful job with this story. She brought perspective and empathy. I really enjoyed Lock and Key. #ReadADessen this month. You won't regret it.
