Liberty: The Spy Who (Kind of) Like Me by Andrea Portes is absolutely hilarious. I love that this book is sill an fun. There are ways to create an original story and still keep it simple. It is quite enjoyable to read a book that makes you laugh so hard that you almost cry.
Paige Nolan's parents are very high profile journalists that went missing and were presumed dead. Paige try her best to move on and continue her normal college life. Then Paige is recruited by a spy to become a spy. Being very reluctant at first, Paige reluctantly agreed because it may be the only way to get more information on her parents.
This story is full of fun characters and loads of jobs and jokes. The story brings so much humor and Paige (or rather Andrea) has such an unique voice. i really enjoyed Paige, she is snarky and won't put up with any crap. Paige still has struggles like many others, so I found her to be quite relatable.
This is definitely a fun and quick read. If you need something light, this is your book.
