The Strange Fascinations of Noah Hypnotik Blog Tour: Review and Candle Making

Review:

The Strange Fascinations of Noah Hypnotik by David Arnold is quirky and unique. I didn't know what to expect diving into this one but I found that it was quite a creative read. This novel is a coming of age story of Noah. We follow him through his struggles of being a teenager. I really enjoyed all the references in this book. It made it a lot of fun. Why this book is so creative is that it is written to be like you are inside Noah's mind and watching his decision processing. I found that I really loved the whimsical feel of this book. The characters are really easy to love. The writing is so much fun. I think David Arnold did a fantastic job with this book and definitely made it stand out in the world of young adult novels.

Bookish Candles:

I own Stub Tail Candle Co. and I enjoy making bookish and fandom candles. You can find us here.

A few things I look forward when I am finding inspiration for a candle is what does the book say. The author has already done most of the work for me by writing their amazing book, so all I have to do it pay attention. Creating a candle is hard work but I find it quite rewarding once I have this perfect beautiful candle in my position. I strive to make sure it looks beautiful but also smells amazing. Everyone loves a candle that actually fills up the room with a lovely smelling scent.

I was so excited to dive in and start creating this candle. It was fun and whimsical. I wanted bright colors.

What does The Strange Fascinations of Noah Hypnotik candle smell like?

Scent Guide:

Sugar, Cedar, Pine, Tea, Berries

I wanted this candle to make you feel like you could really smell the scents that Noah describes around him. I wanted to send you on a whimsical journey as well.
