Blot Tour: Royally Yours By Emma Chase

Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook had an unusual childhood. She was raised to be a Queen—the first Queen of Wessco. It’s a big deal. When she’s crowned at just nineteen, the beautiful young monarch is prepared to rule. She’s charming, clever, confident and cunning. What she isn’t…is married. It’s her advising council’s first priority. It’s what Parliament is demanding, and what her people want. Lenora has no
desire to tie herself to a man—particularly one who only wants her for her crown. But compromises must be made and royals must do their duty. Even Queens. Especially them. ** Years ago, Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke, walked away from his title and country. Now he’s an adventurer—climbing mountains, exploring jungles, going wherever he wants, when he wants—until family devotion brings him home. And a sacred promise keeps him there. To Edward, the haughty, guarded little Queen is intriguing, infuriating…and utterly captivating. Wanting her just might drive him mad—or become his greatest adventure. ** Within the cold, stone walls of the royal palace—mistrust threatens, wills clash, and an undeniable, passionate love will change the future of the monarchy forever. Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story. This is theirs.

Review:

Royally Yours by Emma Chase is amazing. This is a standalone novel that is a spin-off of the original three Royally Series books. At first I didn't know what to expect with this book. To be honest, I didn't even read the synopsis. I saw that Emma Chase wrote it and I knew that I had to have it. In Royally Yours we go back in time to where this dynasty all started.

Lenora's father died and so she became the new queen. The first official queen that the kingdom has ever had. Lenora steps into her rightful place as queen but she continues to get push back on her policies and ruling because she is not married. The council is not willing to work with her until she is married. Lenora refuses to get married just to do it. When she finds out that her sister eloped and she is in danger of losing her throne, she gives in on having an arranged marriage.

What Lenora didn't realize is her father had prepared for this day. He had a list made of eligible bachelors that could possibly be a good match for Lenora. Lenora quickly shoots down all the men on the list finally settling on her best friend. Then life becomes complicated and hard. A marriage opportunity gets thrown Lenora's way and she decides to accept.

I loved getting to experience this woman that was so against marriage and how she ended up with a great love. I really admire Lenora and how she handled being queen. I enjoyed getting to be a part of this beautiful story.

Chase really knows how to grab our attention in a book. I was captivated right away by this story and had a difficult time putting it down. I just knew that I needed to know how everything was going to end. I think this story only took me a few short days to read. I love that Chase is able to book a series that goes together completely but each novel stands all on its own. She can start with book 1 or you can start with book 4 and see where it all began. Either way, you will not regret picking up these books.

I highly recommend Emma Chase and the Royally Series. I am really hoping she continues with a book five. I would snatch it right up. Thank you so much to Emma Chase and The awesome team and InkSlingerpr for providing me an e-arc of this book.
